What Gourmands & Gourmets Cooking workshop is all about?

It is a modern concept, it's not a kitchen, it's not a restaurant, it's not a catering company, it's not a food lab, its everything all together!

My kitchen is design to perform, to create, to invent, to teach, generate and give ideas, to produce them. The most important goal is not to be tight to a business only. The workshop has to be creative and adaptive.

We open our doors in February 2005, with a new concept to teach amateurs and professional about the modern and classical mexican gastronomy, giving courses and seminars, developing shot educational programs in a professional kitchen but in a friendly environment. Like a home kitchen. I arrive to Cancun after founding a key culinary school for the country "ambrosia". With all this knowledge "el Taller Gourmet" brings concentrate the best classes in kitchen techniques, world gastronomy, giving highlights in nutritional facts, simple recipes and the basics in mediterranean, oriental, french, classical and contemporary mexican with all the new world tendencies such as sous vide, molecular cuisine, freezing and sanitary procedures. Taller gourmet is crucial in the region as a leader in the anthropological cuisine and helping to develop regional sustainable menus.

The work shop is filled, equipped and counts with all the modern equipment to create and make gastronomy. With a young and enthusiastic team we develop 3 segments : the teaching area , the catering area and the consultant and new business development area.

The fun is that we love gastronomy, we believe in our professionals and we work for passion to food.
